The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is a protected area located in Quintana Roo. This natural paradise is located on the Caribbean coast and was declared by UNESCO in 1987,
World Heritage Site. In Mayan "Sian Ka'an" means "place where the sky is born", this reserve is also called "Gateway to heaven".
It has an area of 528,147 hectares and is located in the municipalities of Tulum and Felipe Carillo Puerto.
The area is home to an incredible biodiversity: red, black, white and gray mangroves where many marine and terrestrial species live.
Located in the paradisiacal place called "La Piscina". is located in front of the sea and in the background with the estuary.
